  1. An itty bitty bytes™ revival of the old (April 1985) Jeffery J.
  2. Bradford tech support Pascal source that demonstrated graphic
  3. scrolling and scroll bars in general.

  5. Getting the original to run in Think Pascal and Metrowerks Pascal
  6. was a snap.  getting it to run in Think and MW C was not.  I could
  7. not find an example of "GetWRefcon" used in the context found
  8. here.

  10. That seems to be the only bug in the C ports - proper getting of
  11. the window refCon.

  13. I tried using the asm gleaned from ResEdit's 'CODE' editor and I
  14. did get the scrolling to work properly, but not on the first
  15. scroll. The window would "bullseye" would either not be drawn at
  16. all prior to the first scroll, and work right after scrolling, or
  17. be drawn right and not scroll right (redraw right), depending on
  18. how I set up the asm fragments.

  20. I don't have the time or inspiration to fix it, right now, so I'll
  21. leave that to you.  If you fix it, send me the fix.  But the
  22. Pascal, as revived, works fine ecept for the Think biult ap.
  23. doesn't get command equivalents.  No big deal, either.
